Performance and Quality Assurance

The Surrey Safeguarding Adults Board are responsible for overseeing the practice of member organisations to ensure that there are effective processes in place to prevent, identify and respond to the abuse or neglect of adults at risk.

The Surrey Safeguarding Adults Board’s Quality Assurance (QA) subgroup subgroup manage the QA framework.

The QA subgroup will scrutinise the reports and highlight to organisations and the Safeguarding Adults Board key issues.

A Quality Assurance Arrangements/ Guidance  has been developed to assist agencies in completing their QA questionnaire.

The SSAB commissioned Healthwatch Surrey to gain insight into people’s experience of safeguarding and to identify best practice and challenges (what works for people, what doesn’t and what success looks like).

The Healthwatch Surrey report includes a summary of interviews conducted, recommendations and what we learned.
