SARs and SCRs completed in Surrey

Before the Care Act 2014 established a statutory duty to undertake Safeguarding Adult Reviews, Surrey partners had agreed to undertake Serious Case Reviews. These reviews were very similar to the Safeguarding Adults Reviews that are now mandatory under the Care Act 2014. They enabled partners to learn lessons from the way adults could be safeguarded and abuse and neglect reduced. Copies of the Executive Summaries of these Serious Case Reviews are made available here to support agencies to learn lessons.

The SAB have a variety of posters, leaflets and cards to assist in raising awareness of safeguarding adults in Surrey. Most of these resources are freely available to professionals and residents.
